How do you use technology when you are walking?
Walking alone used to be a solitary, quiet experience. Now there are a myriad of ways to add to your journey. From a music soundtrack through earphones, to tweeting about your journey, to accessing QR codes about the environment you are walking in, it seems the experience of walking has changed beyond recognition.

Over 30 walks are available. All of the walks are free and there is no need to book, you can just turn up on the day. You may even be able to squeeze more than one walk into your day.
This week is normally the one when a lot of of us get depressed, Christmas is over, New Year Resolutions are slipping, and many of us are left with big credit card bills, a bit of extra weight, and a long wait until spring. But I think the weather has done its bit to help out this year - is it possible to be depressed when there's snow everywhere ?
Happy new Year to all Walk4Lifers, and a great big thank you from us! In 2012 thousands of you signed up to the site and started adding your walks and tracking your miles. So many of you in fact that we exceeded all of our targets for the website, and we finished 2012 with happy funders and very happy project staff. So what more can we do in 2013 ?
